AAP says the BJP has bumped off Anna Hazare in its ad

Shouldn’t BJP apologise,” tweeted Arvind Kejriwal after the BJP released a campaign advertisement ahead of the Delhi elections. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has taken offence at a campaign advertisement by the BJP ahead of the Delhi elections.The advertisement in question pokes fun at Kejriwal, for taking suport of the Congress after the previous elections in 2013 after publicly promising on his children that he would neither join the Congress nor the BJP. The advertisement while taking a dig at his “promise”, however has irked the AAP more because of its depiction of Anna Hazare using a garlanded portrait which is usually a symbolic representation of someone who has died. Nathuram Godse killed Gandhiji on this day in 1948. Interestingly, on Thursday, the BJP announced that it would not be releasing a manifesto but only a vision statement for Delhi. Now, considering that the BJP has suddenly developed a sense of humour while taking a dig at both Kejriwal and Anna all in one go, the question arises if maybe BJP has a lot of spare time on its hands. Not only does it take a dig at the leader, it also poked fun at the party’s fixation on ‘honesty’ in its ad ridiculing Kejriwal. Hard to believe, but true:BJP put out an "obituary" for Anna Hazare today.
