Sharwanand has been lucky enough to have his films compete with the biggies and emerge successfully as well.
His Express Raja and Shatamanam Bhavati are some of the best examples of scoring it big in the box office despite a stiff competition from high budget films with good star value.
The actor is all set to test his luck once again by having his upcoming release Mahanubhavudu on September 29.
Incidentally, there are several biggies including Mahesh Babu’s Spyder getting ready to hit the marquee for the Dusshera season, but the Mahanubhavudu team seems to be undeterred by it as they are confident of their content.
Directed by Maruthi Dasari, the film is produced on the banner UV Creations by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod.
With the producers being close associates of the actor Prabhas and producing his upcoming film Saaho, they have invited him to grace the audio launch function of Mahanubhavudu, which is scheduled to happen very soon.
Interestingly, Prabhas released the audio of Sharwanand’s Run Raja Run and Express Raja earlier and both the movies went on to score big at the box office.
The team is hopeful that the luck would favor them this time too.
The film has Sharwanand playing the lead role with Mehreen Pirzada as his female lead. It has Vennela Kishore, Nassar and Raghu Babu in the supporting roles. S Thaman has composed music for this action romantic entertainer with Nizar Shafi wielding the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it.
The film’s shooting was wrapped up earlier this month and the post production is going on to ensure that it hits the marquee on September 29 to cash in on the Dusshera weekend.
