Many phone companies try and camouflage their phones when submitting for testing and certification so that the prying eyes of the outsiders may not detect the phone’s details before they make it official. But those who wish to dig out the information manage to do so nevertheless. This is how the leaks about the impending release of a flagship smartphone by HMD Global have uncovered Nokia 9 and some of its specifications.

These leaks indicate that the company is planning to launch the Nokia 9 with 8GB RAM and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a deadly combination that could put in the hands of the users probably the most powerful smartphone ever.

The earlier leaks had suggested a 4GB and sometime later a 6GB RAM on this phone, but these latest reports do indicate that it’s going to be 8GbB only. There are of course critics who claim 8GB of RAM for any smartphone is superfluous. However there are some more details being speculated about the Nokia 9.

The operating system on the new Nokia phone is going to be the Android Nougat version 7.1.1 out of the box. The phone is expected to have a display size of 5.27-inches and the display type is expected to be WQHD. The internal memory is likely to be 64GB and the rear camera setup is being predicted as having dual sensors of 13MP each and a front camera would be 12MP. Some other reports indicate the battery would be a non-removable 3800mAh.

There is even a suggestion that HMD Global proposes to sell the Nokia 9 at a price point of $699. There is also an indication that the Nokia 9 may be priced at Rs 44, 999 when released.

However most of these details need to be fully confirmed by the company which may happen in due course.
