A few days ago there were reports that the Dhruvangal Pathinaaru director Karthick Naren’s next, titled as Naragasooran, may have Arvind Swamy in an important role.
The latest is that Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna, will be seen as the hero in this flick and talks are said to be in the final stages.
IANS has quoted a source close to the film as saying: “Naga Chaitanya is on board. It’s going to be a dual hero subject and the team is in talks with Arvind Swamy. Karthick has met Arvind recently but they are yet to officially announce anything.”
It is worth mentioning here that Naga Chaitanya was seen in a cameo in the Gautham Menon directorial Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya and this may his first full-fledged role in a Tamil movie.
With Naga Chaitanya onboard there are chances of Karthick Naren planning Naragasooran as a bilingual – Tamil and Telugu – but that not been finalised yet, add sources.
The director debut, Dhruvangal Pathinaaru was a crime thriller, which had Rahman in the lead.
Released late last year, the film went on to earn positive reviews from all quarters.
