After actor Arya posted a video on social media, stating that he was looking to marry and that prospective brides may approach him, his friends from Kollywood have been pulling his leg.
In the video, Arya says that this is not a prank and that he was really looking for a suitable woman. When you call the number given in the video, you receive a recorded message from the actor which asks you to click on the link given in the message sent to your phone.

The website has a form which asks for various details, including photograph and video.
While there's speculation that 'Mapillai Arya' could turn out to be a reality TV show, Kollywood is having fun with the actor in the meantime.
Actor Prasanna tweeted that Arya should be careful to select only one and that he should also look for a bride for actor Vishal.

Director Suseenthiran seemed to echo Prasanna's thoughts, asking that the "sanga thalaivar" (a possible reference to Vishal) also find a bride and marry.
