PMK issue: ராமதாஸ் - குருமூர்த்தி சந்திப்பு; Amit Shah உத்தரவு! | Yen Endra Kelvi | TNM Tamil
The leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is closely monitoring the developments unfolding in the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK). A suggestion has been made to both PMK leaders Ramadoss and Anbumani Ramadoss to hold separate press conferences in Chennai indicating their willingness to resolve the issue. This is being planned during Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Tamil Nadu, scheduled for June 7 and 8.
On Thursday, June 5, Anbumani visited his father’s residence in Thailapuram, Tindivanam, but sources told TNM that no formal discussion took place between the two. Anbumani left the residence without addressing the media, refusing to disclose the reason for his visit.
Shortly after Anbumani left the residence, RSS ideologue S Gurumurthy and former Chennai Mayor Saidai Duraiswamy met the PMK founder and held discussions regarding the ongoing power tussle in the party. However, when leaving the residence, he told mediapersons that he met Ramadoss as a longtime friend and that he did not meet him on behalf of the BJP.
In this week of Yen Endra Kelvi, Shabbir Ahmed briefs the battle over PMK and the involvement of BJP in this power tussle.
