Fans of Sandalwood actor Yogesh are in for a treat with Shivarajkumar-starrer Mass Leader, as they will see Yogesh sport two very different looks in the film.
Confirming this, the film’s producer Tarun Shivappa said in an interview to The Times of India, “The first look that sees him donning a rugged-casual look capturing the personality of a 'supari killer' in Mangaluru, who also comes across as a local don. The second look, however, paints a completely different picture, in which Yogi flaunts a Pathani style with a contemporary twist.”
The film’s director Narasimha added that the second look was created for a part of the film where Yogesh travels to Doha with Shivarajkumar, and also features in a song sequence with actor Sharmiela Mandre.
Leader stars Shivarajkumar, Gururaj Jaggesh, Pranitha Subhash, Vijay Raghavendra, Yogesh, Sharmiela Mandre and Vamsi Krishna. The film marks the first time that Yogesh is sharing screen space with Shivarajkumar. The film will also feature a special appearance by Bipasha Basu.
Produced by Tarun Shivappa under the banner Tarun Talkies, the film has music by Veer Samarth, cinematography by Guru Prashant Rai, and editing by KM Prakash. A major part of the film has been shot in Karnataka and Andhra with some portions shot in Kashmir and Manali.
Mass Leader is reportedly scheduled to hit the screens on August 28, and the team is working hard to meet this deadline. The action thriller will see Shivarajkumar playing the role of an army officer.
