It’s the season of Tamil actors turning grey for Telugu films. After Arvind Swami, Arjun and SJ Suryah, the latest actor to jump on the bandwagon is Boys fame Bharath, and he’s really excited about playing one of the baddies in AR Murugadoss’s next yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Mahesh Babu.

Mostly known for playing boy-next-door romantic characters, it’s the first time in his career that Bharath is playing a negative character.

Talking about the experience of working on the project so far, Bharath told Deccan Chronicle, “I play one of the villains in the movie and this film will open up my market in Telugu to a wider audience. There are many artistes from the Telugu industry in the film, but they make it a point to converse in Tamil, which makes it easy for all of us. I am having a wonderful time working with AR Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu. We will shoot the rest of the portions in Pune, Bangkok and Mumbai.”

The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, RJ Balaji and Priyadarshi Pullikonda among others.

Harris Jayaraj is busy giving final touches to the album while simultaneously working on the film’s teaser, which is most likely to be released on January 26.
