The News Minute | December 14, 2014 | 10:03 am ISTTaking the advice of an astrologer a tad too far, a 61 year-old woman took revenge on her husband and murdered him in Kannigaipair village in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu. The woman stabbed her 70 –year old husband suspecting him of having an affair with his daughter-in-law, said New Indian Express. This suspicion was confirmed with an astrologer.The accused, K Vijayalakshmi, stabbed Kathirvelan with a kitchen knife. She admitted to the crime when the police arrived on the spot after information from neighbours. The astrologer advising her on the issue, had not only told her about the extra-marital affair but also said that her husband would try to kill her if she opposed the relationship, said a police officer according to the report.
