Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao continued his attack on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday.

KTR dared Gandhi to win four Assembly seats in the latter's constituency of Amethi, before talking about winning seats in Telangana.

The Minister was addressing a gathering of MSME Industries at Balanagar in Hyderabad.

Stating that there had been disaster for the Congress whenever Rahul stepped in, KTR said that this was proved during the recent Uttar Pradesh elections.

Stating that people have already forgotten him, KTR also said that Rahul Gandhi was irrelevant to politics, looking at his loosing track record.

"Wasn’t it the Congress, which forcefully merged Telangana with Andhra Pradesh? Wasn’t it the Congress, which carried out firing on students and killed 369 students during the 1969 agitation? Isn’t Congress directly responsible for the suicides of innocent youths of Telangana and delay in formation of the new state?" KTR questioned.

Congress has lost credibility, with its anti-development agenda, and should stop its baseless allegations against the TRS government, KTR said.

This is the second time that the Telangana Minister is lashing out against the Congress VC, who addressed a massive rally at Sangareddy last week.

Stating that unemployment is the biggest challenge faced by India, Rahul Gandhi asked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to stop making "hollow promises" and set up factories to provide jobs to the youth.

It was not the Telangana for which students, youth, women and other sections of people fought, Gandhi said.

However, KTR, who is also KCR's son, took to Twitter soon after the speech, and hit back at Rahul Gandhi in a series of tweets.

"Some so called 'national leaders' of 'national' parties who can't even win an election in their own backyard, make tall claims elsewhere," he said.

The Minister also said that the Congress criticising 'family rule' in the TRS, was the 'joke of the millennium'.

KTR also told the Congress leader, "Pre-scripted speeches written by bunch of discredited local leaders can at best make your party look silly. Get your facts right Rahul Ji."
