Hyderabad's BJP MLA Raja Singh is at it again. The Goshamahal legislator, known for his controversial comments, spoke about the Ayodhya dispute during a Ram Navami event last week.

In a video posted on his Facebook page on Saturday, Raja Singh is seen saying, "The day is not far, when a dream held by every Hindu, that a Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya, will come true."

After inciting the crowd a bit more, he goes on to add, "To those who warn of dire consequences if Ram Mandir is built, we were waiting for you to say this, so we can behead you."

He also says, "You can hold our feet, and we will make your Babar's Masjid somewhere else. This is Hindustan. If anyone lives here and taunts Hindus, we won't let them stay here."

The crowd can be seen and heard cheering Raja Singh wildly as he delivers his speech.

Raja Singh does not mention on Facebook where the event happened, but a banner behind him says Goshamahal, Raja Singh's constituency in Hyderabad's Old city area.

Raja Singh himself, is no stranger to controversy.

Last year, on July 30, he posted a video on Facebook saying that the assault on Dalits for skinning a cow in Una in Gujarat, was a "good deed."

On several occasions, the MLA has been accused of making controversial statements and speeches, particularly against Muslims.

Last month, he threatened to stop the meeting organised by the CPI(M), which was attended by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on March 19 in Hyderabad.

"The Kerala CM, who is a murderer of Hindus, is invited to the event on March 19 in Nizam College. I strongly oppose this and will not allow the event to happen. I will go to any extent to stop the meeting,” he said.

Several cases of hate speech and trying to promote enmity between religions are also pending on the MLA.

Reacting to his latest statement, MBT leader Amjed Ullah Khan said, "The matter is a title dispute pending with the Supreme Court and there are charges of conspiracy on several BJP leaders. This is a violation of the court. Also, India's Muslims are waiting for the court's decision, otherwise they also won't sit quiet."

"What is the Hyderabad police doing? What is the Telangana government doing? If a Muslim leader would have made such a statement, they would've put police cars outside his house. Why isn't the state doing anything? Also, I would like to warn Raja Singh, that we also know how to respond to such statements," he added.
