Nothing is stronger than a mother's anger.

This must have been what Everlast Peru thought when it released a video on how it wanted to target sexual offenders in support of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women which falls on November 25, released a video on how it wanted to target sexual offenders.

Street harassment is an issue common to many places around the world.

For Peru, it holds special significance because of its widespread nature in the country’s capital, Lima. A study conducted by an NGO Manuela Ramos determined that 88.4% of all women in the capital have been victims of street harassment.

What they did was beyond imaginable. Everlast identified some repeat sex offenders, something that must have been quite simple considering that atleast 7 out of every 10 women walking down Lima’s roads get harassed.

What it did after that was begin project ‘Harassing Your Mother’.

If you guessed it right, head down straight to watch the video.

It dressed up some sex offender’s mothers. While they walked past their sons dressed up, looking pretty, it was not long before the said offenders, in this case, their sons catcalled to them as they walked by.

What ensues is quite interesting ,and sounds like it might even work.

Nothing works better than a mother's anger. This method sure looks interesting.
