WhatsApp will benefit from this the most as is clearly evident from the doubling of its user database from 30 million users to 600 million active users in the last 3 years.It was not too long ago when Facebook bought over one of the most popular instant messaging applications WhatsApp for a meagre 19 Billion USD. After facing dodgy output in the 3rd quarter of the financial year of 2014, Facebook might still have some reason to smile as their messaging app investment manages to make news with its recent claim of having over 70 million active users in India making it one of the largest markets in this segment. According to the report WhatsApp CEO Jan Kuom had confirmed an additional feature of voice calling for its Android and iOS platforms followed by Blackberry and Windows Phone OS’s. This new introduction to the widely used IM application will further advance its growing numbers and popularity.
