Rajinikanth and the rest of the Enthiran 2.0 team are currently stationed in Delhi for a month-long schedule. As reported earlier, director Shankar will be shooting a high-octane fight sequence at the popular Jawaharlal Stadium in the city, which is also hosting the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016.\
Apart from this stunt sequence, the director also has plans to can some very important portions for the films in and around Delhi.
Akshay Kumar, who is playing the baddie in 2.0, will be joining the sets along with Rajinikanth on Thursday, say credible sources.
A sequel to Endhiran, which was one of the highest budget films to be ever made in India at that time and the biggest hit in the history of Indian cinema, the film has the Brit-born actress, Amy Jackson playing the female lead. Incidentally, 2.0, produced by Lyca Productions, is made on a budget of Rs. 350 crores, making it one of the costliest films in recent times.
The Oscar winning musician, AR Rahman is teaming up with director Shankar and Rajinikanth for 2.0, which has raised the bars of expectations among the music buffs.
The film’s shooting is currently in progress, and both Tamil as well as Hindi versions are expected to hit the marquee next year.
