Well, not entirely anyway. Pradeesh is an NRI from Kollam and his wife Laxmi, rented a chopper from Heli Tours India for Rs 6 lakh.“The auspicious (Muhurtham) time to leave the wedding hall (mandap) was at 3.00 pm and the right time to get in to the groom’s house was at 4.00 pm. To travel from Alappey to Kollam in one hour is impossible in the heavy traffic. This was one of the reasons to opt helicopter for transportation. Apart from this Pradeesh wanted some uniqueness in the event,” Laxmi’s father Jayaram told The News Minute.
