The News Minute | November 10, 2014 | 4.51 pm IST A rather excited and awed crowd gathered to watch Pradeesh Pradeep when he arrived in a helicopter to the village of Pathirappally to sweep his bride off her feet. Guests invited were left wide-eyed as he arrived by a chopper for his wedding in Alappuzha district in God’s Own Country. Despite the slight similarity with the opening scene of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Pradeesh wasn’t showing off. Well, not entirely anyway. He did have a reason to use the unconventional and rather expensive mode of transport. To travel from Alappey to Kollam in one hour is impossible in the heavy traffic. This was one of the reasons to opt helicopter for transportation. Apart from this Pradeesh wanted some uniqueness in the event,” Laxmi’s father Jayaram told The News Minute.
