Kollywood actor Chiyaan Vikram’s daughter Akshita got engaged to Manu Ranjith, son of the Ranganathan family of Cavin Kare’s Bakery fame on Sunday morning.
Ranjith is also the great grandson of DMK supremo M Karunanidhi.
The private and low-key engagement took place in Chennai. Wedding is scheduled for next year.
The couple have been in a relationship for a while and were finally set to exchange wedding vows with the consent of their parents.
