In what can be considered an injustice to Gabbar Singh, the dreaded dacoit from Sholay, a still from the Hindi movie totally takes away the credit from him- for the terror he unleashed. An image was doing rounds on the internet some weeks ago shows a dejected Dharmendra tending to an injured Amitabh Bachchan as a strap line below reads "More horrific images of seriously injured as a result of Israeli shelling". The channel's logo flashes on the left- it claims to be Al Jazeera, the Doha based news organisation. Those who shared the photo said this was how the channel spread lies about Israel pounding Gaza.

This is just one of the many rumours that have surfaced about the organisation on the internet in recent times, its aim likely to make others raise questions on Al Jazeera and the authenticity of the news it broadcasts.

The Facebook page of Al Jazeera PR recently published a video on the top five funniest rumours about the media organisation.

One such video also shows Messi, rather his dubbed version, saying that he was bribed by Al Jazeera.

Such images and videos go viral and often are shared by many. Al Jazeera seems to have grown tired of the rumours and took to humour to discredit them.
