Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) confirmed that the areas to be affected are: Koramangala 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 4th C, 5th, 5th and 6th blocks, ST Bed, J Block, Jakkasandra, Defence Colony, NAL Layout, Jayanagar 9th Block, Krishnappa Garden, BHEL Layout, BTM 2nd Stage, Jaraganahalli, JP Nagar 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Phase, Venakatapura, Teachers Colony, RBI Layout, Navodaya Nagara, Avenue Colony, Shreyas Colony, Bilekahalli, Dollars Layout, Puttenahalli, Arakere Mico Layout, Ramaiah City, Sai Enclave Layout, Classic Orchards Layout, Panduranganagara, Rotary Nagar, SBI Colony, KSRP Quarters, Sathya Sai Layout, Manjunatha Layout, Siddartha Colony, Kodichiakkanahalli, Kodichikkanahalli Village, HSR Layout (sectors 1 to 7), Mangammana Palya, Garden Layout, Rajiv Gandhi Nagara, BKL Colony, Hospalya, Bandepalya, Electronics City Phase-I and Phase-II.
Water supply was also disrupted in several areas of the city on January 22 and 23 due to maintenance work taken up by the BWSSB. The water body has laid down plans to ensure round the clock water supply in Bengaluru in the summer months after the water was disrupted during the summer in many parts of the city last year.
