The News Minute | December 15, 2014 | 06:43 pm IST In what seems like an attempt to highlight the safety of women on city roads in the country, CNN-IBN recently launched the #NoCityForWomen initiative. The media organisation last week tweeted asking its readers, 'Street sexual harassment: Does it matter what you are wearing?'Now, CNN-IBN has come up with video reports shot in four major cities in the country-Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. Each video captures an undercover female reporter walking across a prominent area in the city and thus also records whether or not she receives any untoward advances from men in the roads. In Chennai, the reporter is seen walking on Ranganathan street, one of the busiest markets in Chennai. "It is 11 in the morning and most shops have just opened. I am wearing a long top and jeans. But even that draws unwanted stares. People look at me from top to bottom like a commodity. And Yes! even if your glares are focused on a woman's backside, she gets to know," she says.Though in all the four cities the women received stares in plenty, Bengaluru and Mumbai seem to be in a better state than the other two.  Watch the other videos here.
