While expectations were high on the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion, it was even more for the first look teaser of Prabhas’ upcoming film Saaho.
Along with the magnum opus, came the teaser of Saaho, to capture the attention of the film buffs. After giving his undivided attention to Baahubali for the past five years, Prabhas moved over to Saaho amidst a lot of expectations.
The first look teaser shows a blood-stained Prabhas open his eyes, and say “It’s Show Time.”
Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is touted to be a sci-fi thriller.
The film is being bankrolled by Uppalapati Pramod and V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy on UV Creations banner. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the film has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
R Madhi is cranking the camera and Madhu has been signed up to take charge at the editing table.
Made on a budget of Rs. 150 crore, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is basking in glory over the stupendous success of Baahubali: The Conclusion, which opened to packed houses overseas on Thursday, and verdict has been good.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has Prabhas playing the title role. Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nasser are in the star cast as well. The film has been produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works.
With Baahubali 2 releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam, there are huge expectations that it would turn out to be the first Indian film to reach the Rs. 1000 crore club.
