As the election race heats up in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been lashing out at his opponent and YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, and also his political consultant, Indian Political Action Committee chief Prashant Kishor. At a public meeting on Monday, Naidu hit out at Jagan over the filing of Form-7s in the state to delete voters, and called Prashant Kishor a “Bihari dacoit”.

“You saw the Form-7s. A man from Bihar came called PK. He’s a Bihari dacoit. There’s no law and order in Bihar. All these people are coming and are committing cyber crimes. They’re deleting our votes without us knowing,” Naidu said.

In response, Prashant called Naidu’s remarks baseless utterances. “An imminent defeat can rattle even the most seasoned politicians. So I’m not surprised with the baseless utterances of @ncbn. Sirji rather than using derogatory language that shows your prejudice & malice against Bihar, just focus on why people of AP should vote for you again,” Prashant tweeted.

This is not the first time that Naidu has attacked Prashant. In a previous meeting, Naidu spoke about the app data of the TDP’s official app, Seva Mitra, being seized as part of a raid after a complaint was filed against it. He attacked Prashant Kishor here as well, saying that this was not Bihar but Andhra Pradesh.

“You saw earlier. Our data, the data of our workers, Seva Mitra data, KCR has stolen it and giving it to Jagan. Think about the depravity. One man came from Bihar — PK. He’s a maha consultant. He’ll make Jagan Mohan Reddy win. He’ll do surveys, commit cyber crimes, remove existing votes. I don’t understand how this is justice. This is not Bihar, this is Andhra Pradesh, remember that. If you act as per your wishes, we'll cut his tail and permanently send him to Bihar,” Naidu had said.
