ndian vice-captain Virat Kohli’s performance and the Indian team’s loss against Australia in the World cup semi finals spread a wave of disappointment amongst his fans and spectators. Many started targeting Virats’ girlfriend and actor Anushka Sharma, blaming her for the team’s loss. Anushka Sharma became the target of many misogynistic comments made by trolls on social media. After a lot of unnecessary flak in different social networking sites, Kohli lashed at the critics for blaming her for India’s exit from ICC Cricket World Cup. Kohli slammed the trolls, in his statement to the reporters in Kolkata. He said,” "I was personally very disappointed.
