Screen-grab Courtesy: Puthiya Thalaimurai Reporters in Delhi were at the receiving end of an aggressive (and hilarious) tongue lashing from DMDK leader Vijaykanth at a joint press conference today held in New Delhi by members of several political parties including DMK and BJP. The delegation had just met the Prime Minister to discuss various issues in Tamil Nadu. Targeting the reporter of Jaya TV specifically, Vijaykanth first refused to answer his questions, and later threatened to abuse him and Jayalalithaa, and throw the microphones at him when the reporter persisted with his line of questioning. Jaya TV, as the name suggests, is known to be the mouth piece of the AIADMK and its supremo Jayalalithaa, who is at loggerheads with the actor-turned-politician. Vijaykanth also walked out of the press conference, but was then persuaded to get back to the conference. That did not go too well either, Vijaykanth refused to give proper answers to almost all question from there on. For those who know Tamil, here are some gems. Captain told the reporter, "neenga summa irunga illa kundaka-mandaka, Jayalalithaa-va kundaka-mandaka thittiruven." ("Keep quite, or I will scold, I will scold Jayalalithaa with unparliamentary words." is a loose translation.) Another one, "Gammunu irunga marubudiyum, thooki adichirvuen pathukonga!" *points at the mic* ("Keep shut. Or I will pick up and throw this at you") And then he says, "Jaya TV na enna komba? Komba? Komba mulaichiruku unaku?" ("What if you are from Jaya TV you have horns?" Here is the video, courtesy Puthiya Thalaimurai
