Vijay Sethupathi is currently shooting for K.V. Anand’s untitled film with Madonna Sebastian as the heroine. His next after that will be helmed by Panneerselvam who gave the riveting thriller ‘Renigunta’ a few years back.
According to sources, the director had earlier approached Keerthy Suresh and Manjima Mohan to play the female lead but both the heroines turned down the offer citing call sheet issues.
And now it looks like Vijay Sethupathi is likely to team up again with Aandavan Kattalai co-star Ritika Singh for this project.
Samuthirakani, who recently won the national award for ‘best supporting’ actor for Visaranai, plays a pivotal role in the film and D. Imman would be scoring the film’s music.
Set in a very different backdrop from the usual run-of-the-mill stuff, the film will be produced by S. Aiswarya on behalf of her production house ‘Sri Sairam Creations’ and the shoot will begin in December.
