The actor is already making his Telugu debut with Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'.

There are reports doing rounds that Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi is being considered to play the main villain in the upcoming Telugu movie that will have mega star Chiranjeevi’s nephew Vaishnav Tej as the hero. The film will be co-produced by ace director Sukumar. Meghna Raj has already been roped in to play the heroine in this flick, which has not been titled yet. Buchi Babu will be wielding the megaphone for this venture. While Vijay Sethupathi is the strong contender to play the baddie in this movie, the team is waiting for a confirmation from the actor.

Incidentally, Vijay Sethupathi will be making his debut in the Telugu film industry with Chiru’s film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. It is the biopic on the legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and Chiru plays the titular role in it.

It may be noted here that Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakathi hit the marquee last year to positive reviews and his next outing at the theatres was with the Rajinikanth starrer Petta. This film is directed by Karthik Subburaj and bankrolled by Kalanidhi Maran under his banner Sun Pictures. The film has Vijay Sethupathi playing an important role and it was the first time he had shared screen space with Rajinikanth.

Vijay Sethupathi is also all set to make his acting debut in the Malayalam film industry with Mathai Marconi in which he shares screen space with Jayaram. The technical crew of Mathai Marconi includes Sajan Kalathil as the cinematographer, M Jayachandran as the music composer and Shameer Muhammed as the editor. The film is bankrolled under the banner Satyam Audios.

Mathai Marconi is a bilingual that will be made in Tamil and Malayalam, given the popularity of its lead stars Jayaram and Vijay Sethupathi in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries respectively.
