Also in the star cast are the Tollywood star Jagapathi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Thambi Ramaiah and Sathish. The film had a strong technical crew with Santhosh Narayanan scoring the music, M Sukumar wielding the camera and KL Praveen editing it.

On its release on January 12, 2017, Bairavaa had a massive opening with the film being out in as many as 55 countries. In a statement issued by the makers of Bairavaa, it was stated that the film would be out in countries such as Mexico, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Russia where no Tamil film had released until now.
