The first look and title of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film has been revealed! Titled World Famous Lover, the first look of the actor in the film promises it to be an intense emotional drama.
A press note from the filmmakers reads: “Brace yourself! The heartthrob @thedeverakonda is all set to take you on an intense emotional ride! here's the first look of #CC46 and #VD9 #WorldFamousLover,” which gives an indication on what the film is about. Vijay Deverakonda also shared the first look on his social media page with the caption, “First Look. #WorldFamousLover #WFLFirstLook.”

The film has four heroines - Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite – in the star cast, which has upped the curiosity levels. Gopi Sundar has been roped in to compose the tunes for this venture. Jaya Krishna Gummadi will be cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will be handling the editing department. World Famous Lover is being bankrolled by K. A. Vallabha under his banner Creative Commercials and will be presented by K. S. Rama Rao.
It is worth mentioning that Vijay had agreed to work with Anand Annamalai, the dialogue writer for the critically acclaimed Tamil film Kakka Muttai in his maiden directorial, but the project was shelved due to creative differences. Reports were that it would be a sports musical with the tentative title Hero. Vijay Deverakonda was supposed to play a professional biker in this film which was to be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
Vijay Deverakonda’s last release was Dear Comrade. Directed by Bharat Kamma, the film was inspired from the Mollywood movie Comrade in America, which had Dulquer Salman playing the lead. Dear Comrade was also produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Vijay has recently teamed up with director Puri Jagannadh for his next. The project was announced some weeks ago and now we have the official confirmation that it has been titled Fighter. The pre-production of this film is on and the shooting will begin in January next year.
