On January 14 2017, 16-year-old Nandhini’s naked body was discovered at a well in Keelamaligai, in the Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu.
It was face down, decomposing and had maggots crawling over it. When TNM visited Rajakili’s home, it was to discover a broken family, left bitter and angry at the way the police, politicians and the court had treated them.
