Two women are busy clearing water from a marbled floor as a steady stream leaks from the roof of the room.

No, this isn't a house in Hyderabad, but the office of the Leader of Opposition in the newly-constructed Andhra Pradesh Assembly in Guntur district.

The YSR Congress Party on Tuesday took to Facebook to post a video that showed the roof of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's office at Amaravati leaking at several points.

The video also shows overflowing buckets at several points in the office, that were placed to collect and control the flow of water.

The video was seemingly taken after moderate rains lashed the complex and various parts of the state, early on Tuesday evening.

The video was posted with a message, that read, "If this is the situation for a small rain, what will happen when the monsoon starts?"

The YSR Congress also took a dig at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu saying, "This is what our 'international intellectual' has constructed."

Besides being provided a seat in the front row during Assembly proceedings, the Leader of Opposition is also provided a room in the Assembly complex.

The Andhra Pradesh legislature building was inaugurated in Amaravati by Naidu in March this year.

The building housing the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, had been constructed close to the temporary secretariat at Velagapudi.

In the same month, the budget session was held for the first time in the new state capital.

The building housing the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council has come up in a record time of 192 days, officials had claimed at the time.
