There was a time when one of the most whispered terms in a girls’ school was “Sunday is longer than Monday” – meaning your petticoat, worn under the school uniform was longer than the skirt.

And while there’s a lot of noise about how little women wear these days, for many women, it can definitely be very, very comfortable to many women, not to mention less humiliating.

At a time when skimpy lingerie is often considered sexy by those attracted to women, small underwear definitely has its uses. For instance, a bra could be considered ergonomic clothing – try being in a vehicle on a potholed road, and you’ll know exactly why.
