The UDF ruling front released their election manifesto on Wednesday  with their Kerala Perspective Development 2030 aiming for 7.5% GDP growth rate for the state.

A few of the major promises are listed below:

  • Health insurance for all
  • Maveli hotels in all Taluks (AMMA canteen model)
  • Farmer- pension will be increased up to Rs 1000
  • 15 lakh job opportunities within 5 years
  • BPL card holders to get rice for free and APL card holders will get rice for Rs 7 per kg
  •  No price hike for the products available in Maveli stores
  • Rectify and implement controversial clauses of Kasturirangan report
  • Introduce Farmer bumper lottery
  • Provide radio for all visually challenged people
  • Reduce prices of medicine
  • Build houses for poor with bumper lottery for the homeless
  • Enhance operation Kubera
  • Promote start ups
  • Low interest rates on farmers’ loans
