Two Keralites were killed in an accident that took place at the Salwa border of Saudi Arabia on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as KS Ajith, 37, a native of Thokkad, Perumbadav in Kannur, and Ajith Kumar a native of Mankada in Malappuram. Both were working in Welflow Wealth Care company in Bahrain. They were on their way to Dubai for work.

The vehicle they travelled in along with other workers of the company collided with a trailer truck on Friday morning. It is assumed that the driver might had dozed off, according to Mathrubhumi daily. Two other Keralites - Prasad and Vinod - were injured in the accident.

KS Ajith is the son retired teacher Sasidharan and Vijayakumari. He is survived by wife Sangeetha and two children. Ajith Kumar is survived by mother Madhavi Amma, wife Chithra and two children.

Both the deceased reportedly came to Bahrain seven months ago. They often used to travel to Dubai for official purposes.
