The Bhandari brothers – Nirup and Anup – are teaming up together for the bilingual Rajaratha after the massive success of their film Rangi Tharanga. While Rangi Tharanga had Nirup in a sorrowful and troubled role, in Rajaratha he will be seen as a happy-go-lucky guy. In fact, the film is loaded with comedy that will leave audiences in splits.

Nirup is reported to have said that Rajaratha will be completely different from his earlier film and added that audiences are in for a big surprise without revealing too much. Stating that it is difficult to work in comedy films, Nirup has said that situational comedy is all about timing. Revealing about the character he plays in the film, Nirup said that he plays an engineering student. Wanting to do something different with each of his films, the actor has said that he is trying to break free of the stereotypes.

To be released in Kannada under the title Rajaratha, the film’s Telugu version has been titled Rajaratham. Anup Bhandari has wielded the megaphone for this venture with Ajay Reddy, Vishu Dakappagari, Anju Vallabh and Sathish Sastry producing it under the banner Jollyhits, SrishtiCreationZ and ABCinemas.

The rom-com features Nirup Bhandari and Avantika Shetty in the lead roles with P Ravishankar, Arya and Sruthi Hariharan in pivotal roles. In fact, Rajaratha will mark Arya’s debut in the Kannada film industry and he has a crucial role to play.

While Anup Bhandari has composed music for the songs, the background score has been done by B Ajaneesh Loknath. William David has cranked the camera for this flick, which is gearing up for release on November 17.
