Actress Trisha has returned from London after completing a long schedule of her upcoming horror film, Mohini, which is being directed by Madhesh. For the first time in her career, she will be seen playing a chef cum food blogger in the film, which also features her in the role of a ghost.
According to a Times of India report, she has apparently undergone training from a few cooking experts in London to bring authenticity to her character.
In the film, Trisha plays a baker, who runs her own restaurant. Her character maintains a food blog in which she shares culinary tips. Since she has not played such a role before, she jumped at the opportunity when she was approached. Having successfully completed the chef’s portion, the team will now shoot the portion where Trisha plays a ghost. The makers will soon head to Thailand to shoot some important sequences.
Meanwhile, Trisha’s horror-comedy, Nayaki, is slated for release this week in cinemas. She plays dual roles for the first time in her career in this project, which also happens to be her first horror project. It was while shooting for Nayaki; she signed Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2 and went on to complete it.
