Tovino Thomas to act in Prithviraj directorial debut ‘Lucifer’?

The shooting of Lucifer is all set to begin in April / May this year and there are enough speculations doing rounds about this project. Expectations are high on it as it will mark the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj. Incidentally, this will be the first time the two actors are associating.

Earlier reports suggested that Prithviraj’s brother and actor Indrajith would be playing the main antagonist in this film, and speculations are rife now that Tovino Thomas has been roped for a crucial role as well. However, both these reports are yet to be confirmed by official sources. Rumors about Tovino joining the Lucifer star cast began after the star recently posted a picture of himself with Mohanlal. Sources say that a clear picture of this project would emerge only after Prithviraj is done with his current assignments.

While Mohanlal and Tovino Thomas had shared the screen space in Koothara, which was directed by Sreenath Rajendran, he had worked with Prithviraj in three movies Ezra, Seventh Day, and Ennu Ninte Moideen and shares a good rapport.

It may be mentioned here that Prithviraj is expecting the release of Ranam, a bilingual directed by Nirmal Sahadev. The film has gone into the post production mode and is expected to release in a couple of weeks. He also has the Anjali Menon directorial, which has not been titled yet.  Prithviraj also has Aadujeevitham in his kitty which is in the initial stages of production and would go on to the floors soon.

Well, to know more about Lucifer we will have to wait for sometime as the team is currently busy with the pre-production work.
