  1. Accusing the Telangana government of hatching a conspiracy to defame Naidu and terming it as an attack on people of Andhra Pradesh, the leaders of TDP lodged complaints against Rao at dozens of police stations across the state. More than 30 FIRs under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) relating to criminal conspiracy and forgery were booked. More details here. 2. Well-known poet and writer Dasaradhi Rangacharya died on Monday at a hospital in Hyderabad. Dasaradhi, who was 86 years old, had been unwell for the past week. The writer is known for his active participation in the fight against the autocratic rule of the Nizam and in the Telangana armed struggle. The Hyderabad Police has rubbished allegations of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, an accused in the cash-for-vote case was being ill-treated at the Special Investigation Team (SIT) police station. Child abuse cases in Telangana and AP are on the rise with a 48 percent increase every year. IIT Hyderabad will shift to a new campus in Kandi village in August. A six-floor building known as Academic Block-A will house classes for the institute's 1,900 students from 14 different departments. The new campus will also have ten hostel blocks.
