Kerala's home department on Wednesday served a show cause notice to Additional Director General of Police Rishiraj Singh for protocol breach by him at a function attended by Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. Read details.      2. The preliminary trial in the Chandrabose murder case was held on Tuesday and the defense claimed that Chandrabose died due to internal bleeding after an accident. Salim Raj, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's former gunman, was last month arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), but on Wednesday when the investigators submitted the list of six accused to a court here, his name did not figure in it. Kerala government's ambitious 3-year-old zero landless citizens programme is not yet fruitful. In Thiruvananthapuram alone there were 3,500 selected beneficiaries under the programme, 2,626 land deeds were issued by the state in 2012 but till date only 388 households out of them have got the land.
