Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Samgam (SNDP) leader Velapally Nadesan called Idukki diocese bishop a "poisonous communalist" following the latter's criticism on interfaith marriages in Christianity. Bishop Mathew Anikuzhikatil on Saturday alleged that SNDP and the Muslim community have been trying to trap Christian women through love jihad and interfaith marriages. Read TNM report.   2. The steering committee of the party decided to suspend him from the party as he fielded a separate candidate apart from the official UDF candidate in the Aruvikkara by election. Four CISF constables have been arrested for vandalism in the Karipur airport. The CCTV visuals from the airport reportedly show angry CISF personnel damaging airport property after coming to know of their colleague Yadav's death. Read TNM report.    5. A temple panel in Northern Kerala raised objections when Sheeja Si vadas, a dancer, decided to build a dance school near the temple saying it was "against the faith".
