 1. Even as the whereabouts of city-based Faiz Masood who is alleged to have joined ISIS is unknown, officials from Intelligence Bureau(IB) are probing the cause for him to join the radical group. They are investigating if there are any ISIS sympathizers in the city who may have changed Faiz's mindset. 2. Congress party to release manifesto highlighting the party's vision for the city ahead of the upcoming BBMP elections. The 17-day protest staged by producers of the Kannada film industry ended on Wednesday with the intervention of the government. The producers had demanded that actors should not take up shows on television as this was causing them loss of revenue.
