Well known filmmaker Sampath Nandi, also known as the hat-trick director, is all set to floor both Pawan Kalyan as well as Mahesh Babu fans with his upcoming film Ghattamaneni Goutham Nanda.
From the title that he has chosen, it is evident that Pawan Kalyan as well as Mahesh Babu’s fans will be pleased.
The reason is that Ghattamaneni is the real life surname of actor Mahesh Babu while Goutham Nanda was the name of the character that ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan had played in the smash hit Attharintiki Daredi.
Adopting both the names to create a title for his own film, the director said that he wanted an apt name, as his protagonist is from a rich family.
Sampath Nandi made his debut as director with the 2010 release Yemaindi Ee Vela and his next was the smash hit Racha in 2012 which had Ram Charan and Tamannaah Bhatia playing the lead pair.
His previous release, Bengal Tiger starred Ravi Teja and Tamannaah Bhatia.
In Ghattamaneni Goutham Nanda, Gopichand plays the lead role with Hansika and Catherine Tresa sharing the screen space with him.
The star cast also includes Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani and Mukesh Rishi in pivotal roles.
Touted to be an action entertainer, the film is produced jointly by J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao under the banner Sri Balaji Cine Media. Scoring the music for this flick is S Thaman with Ramajogayya Sastry penning the lyrics for all the songs in the album.
Soundar Rajan has cranked the camera with Gautham Raju editing it.
The film is in the final stages of production with the filmmakers planning to have it released on July 28.
