The shoot of Thala 57 is progressing at brisk space across exotic locations in Europe. Tipped to be a spy thriller, the yet-untitled project, which is being helmed by Siruthai Siva, is believed to be the biggest film in Ajith’s career, both in terms of budget and scale.
Ajith, who plays an Interpol agent, has shed weight to play his part. Also starring Akshara Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal, the project was rumoured to be titled Dhuruvan; however, reliable sources have confirmed that the makers haven’t finalized on a title yet.
The team, which left on a European sojourn last month, has so far shot in a few exotic locations including Austria. A local newspaper there called Ajith the Indian Sylvester Stallone, and reported that he was spotted in a black outfit, almost resembling a suave FBI agent while shooting for an action sequence.
