A probe has been initiated against a Telangana State Regional Transport Corporation’s bus conductor for writing against the ruling TRS government and the Chief Minister KCR on Facebook.

The conductor from Nizamabad-I depot, D Sanjeev, had reportedly criticised the government’s policies on Facebook during the recently held Singareni Collieries’ Workers Union election, reported Deccan Chronicle.

The conductor was pulled up by vigilance and security officials to explain his actions on October 6, and an action is pending against him, The New Indian Express reported.

DC report further added that during the Singareni elections, Sanjay took to social media and criticised the poll promises made by the Chief Minister to elect the TRS affiliate TBGKS.

Sanjay allegedly wrote that the government would cheat the coal mine workers as it did to the TSRTC employees.

In his posts, he also wrote against the TSRTC for forcing them to work for at least 16 hours without giving an off, the next day.

One of his posts, reads, “The government claims that it had given Rs 250 crore to the RTC from the GHMC but in reality, the TSRTC did not get even a single paisa,” TNIE reported.

Viewing his posts as critical of the government and its policies, the vigilance officials wrote a letter to the Nizamabad depot, following which an inquiry was initiated against him.
