Telangana BJP MLA G Kishan Reddy on Monday lodged a complaint with state DGP M Mahender Reddy, stating that his official website was hacked for a brief period of time.

The Amberpet legislator put out screenshots on his official Facebook page, which showed that the website was seemingly hacked by a person or a group called 'Pak Monster' or 'Pak Cyber Thunders'.

A message on the website said that it was hacked as 'payback' of hacking Pakistan sites.

Another message said, "Free Kashmir, because it is ours! Pakistan Zindabad."

“Looks like this notorious act was the handiwork of “Pakistani agents” or anti-nationals. I have written to Telangana DGP and IG (Intelligence) of Telangana Police for necessary action,” Kishan Reddy said on Facebook.

In his police complaint, the MLA said, "I registered this website and have been maintaining it for more than a decade. My employees update it with news, my activities and programmes on a daily basis."

He said that he came to know about the alleged hacking, when an employee opened the site on Monday morning, to update the news section.

The legislator also claimed that his website was hacked in a similar manner around six months ago.

In January this year, a 14-year-old minor hacked into cricketer Mohammed Siraj’s social media accounts and sent ‘I love you’ messages to his friends and relatives.

“The messages which said “I Love You” were posted from Siraj’s personal Gmail, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts,” the police said at the time.

The cricketer from Hyderabad later got back control of his accounts, after the cyber crime police’s investigation into the case.

“Hello everyone! Unfortunately, my Facebook and Instagram accounts were hacked by some unknown persons…all the accounts have been recovered with the help of Telangana Cyber Crime police.
With this message, I would like to thank all those who have worked on this case,” Siraj posted on social media later.
