Suspected Radioactive leak: Fire engines, disaster response teams rush to Delhi Airport T3

At least seven fire tenders and NDRF, NDMA personnel have been rushed to Terminal 3 of the Delhi Airport after a suspected radioactive leakage was reported from an Air France flight on Sunday.

TV reports suggest the leakage was caused after medical equipment was damaged on board the flight.

The Times of India reported the Delhi fire department got a call from the airport authorities complaining of a suspected radioactive leak.

From then, the entire premises have been evacuated as a preventive measure.

The Indian Express reported officials of the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board also visited the area.
