Days after parts of actor Surya’s latest release ‘Singam 3’ was reportedly leaked online by a torrent website, a cyber hackers group have claimed to have deleted the Facebook page of the website.

Though Tamil Rockers had threatened to live stream the entire film at 11 am on the day of its release on February 9, parts of the film was reportedly leaked online later in the day.

A hacker group that goes by the name Mallu Cyber Soldiers informed through their Facebook page late on Saturday that they deleted Tamil Rockers’ Facebook page, after the latter leaked parts of the film online.

“We are behind you Tamil Rockers its not because of singam 3 !! but considering Indian movie industry. Tamil Rockers official facebook page with 49000+ fans got deleted by Mallu Cyber Soldiers by mass cyber attack. Unga 49,287 like irika page https://www.facebook.com/tamilrockers.officialpage/” Mallu Cyber Soldiers wrote on Facebook.

At the time Tamil Rockers' official Facebook page was deleted, the page had 49,287 likes 49,730 followers.

However on Sunday, Tamil Rockers appears to have created a new Facebook page, announcing their "come back."

The same hackers group had previously hacked into a number of Pakistani websites. In 2015, Mallu Cyber Soldiers hacked into the official website of Pakistan government, in what they claimed was a retaliation to the hacking of Indian government's official website.
