  Popular producer D. Suresh Babu has been elected as the new president of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, said a source. "Suresh Babu is the new president of the Chamber. He will be officially sworn in at a ceremony soon," a source told IANS. Suresh Babu and Narayana Das of Asian Films were vying for the president's post. Suresh, son of legendary producer D. Ramanaidu and father of Rana Daggubati, was unanimously chosen by all the 16 exhibitors, who now form the executive committee. Suresh produces films under the over five-decade old banner of Suresh Productions. They've produced over 200 films across several Indian languages. Suresh Babu’s win was reportedly unanimous with him winning the vote of 41 of the 44 seats in the executive committee. Senior producers Dil Raju, M Ramesh and P Kiran were elected Vice Presidents while K Damodara Prasad was elected Secretary.     With IANS
