After 20 years, the Super Star 's mega blockbuster Basha is getting spruced up as it will be digitized and released once again.
Rajinikanth’s mega-hit Basha was a trendsetter in the nineties and was the first of many films, which showed the hero in a ‘negative’ role, though not throughout the film.
Confirming the news Vetran producer R M Veerappan said that colour restoration ,DI correction works and digital mastering of the original print are on. The digitized trailer of the film would be released next month while the digitized version will hit screens on December 12, coinciding with the Super Star's birthday.
With the new digital version, the audience will get to see a fresh, new Basha, Rajini style. Directed by Suresh Krishna, the film holds a very special place in the hearts of Thalaivar's fans.
