Three heroines from a well-known film family in Sandalwood – Vainidi, Vysri and Vybhavi – will be making their acting debut with Yaana. Daughters of noted star couple Vijayalakshmi Singh and Jai Jagadish, they belong to the family of Shanker Singh and Prathima Devi and are third-gen actors from the family to don the greasepaint. The film is directed by Vijayalakshmi Singh. Recently, a song from the album was released by Kiccha Sudeep at the Chamundeswari Studio. The song has been penned and sung by Siddharth, who happens to be Vainidhi’s classmate.
The film has been produced jointly by Harish Sherigar and SV Rajendra Singh Babu under the banner I Entertainment. Speaking about venturing into production, Harish Sherigar said that he hoped to bankroll several Kannada movies in the near future. It may be noted that this Dubai-based businessman from Mangaluru had also produced March 22 earlier.
Speaking at the event, Sudeep welcomed the three leading ladies into the film fraternity and recalled that when his father Sanjeev produced Veera Parampare in 1983, the three little girls would be running around the sets and they have now turned out to be beautiful ladies.
Producer SV Rajendra Singh Babu said that his family is into the 75th year in the film industry and is thankful that the four generations have been successful till now.
Siddharth, who had penned the song in Yaana and sung it, said that it was a great moment for him to share the dais with the acclaimed actor Sudeep and thanked the Big Boss for gracing the event.
