Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday flayed the reported move by the Tamil Nadu Bishops' Council to extend support to DMK-Congress alliance for the May 16 state Assembly polls.
"Those who talk of secularism, is this a proper thing (to do)? This kind of politics will ruin the country," he told PTI in Madurai.
Flaying the reported move, Swamy, a Rajya Sabha MP, said the saffron party had not asked Sadhus to appeal to Hindus to vote for his party.
Further, he alleged that his party's Royapuram candidate in Chennai, R Jemeela, was denied entry into a church and condemned it.
