Director SS Rajamouli has taken a well-deserved break following the massive success of his latest release, Baahubali: The Conclusion.

The film opened to packed theatre halls across the world on April 28 and the positive reviews are doing wonders at the box office.

With the film grossing Rs. 100 crore at the box office on the opening day and being declared a blockbuster already, the director has gone on a vacation with his family.

Rajamouli will be touring London for the next 10 days before arriving back in Hyderabad, say sources.

Also, there are plans to go to Bhutan once the family is done with the London trip, we hear. During the third week of May, Rajamouli will be touring various parts of the US to promote Baahubali: The Conclusion.

The success of Baahubali has created a huge expectation among movie buffs about the director’s next venture.

When enquired about it, sources in the know said that the director will be taking a break this year and start work on his next project in 2018.

SS Rajamouli and his core team had been working on the project for nearly five years now. While Baahubali: The Beginning released in July 2015, the sequel was out on April 28, 2017.

The film has an impressive star cast with Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj.

The film had music by MM Keeravani and story by KV Vijayendra Prasad. Made on a budget of about Rs. 250 crore, the film’s pre-release business fetched it Rs. 500 crore, state sources.

The 4K High Definition visual grandeur is sure to rake in more that Rs. 1000 crore at the box office, say trade analysts.
